Wayapa is an internationally accredited wellness modality consisting of a narrative movement and meditation practice reverencing 14 elements in nature.
Each weekly session will include visualisation, meditation, yarning (discussion and sharing), creative exploration, reflection and movement.
Wayapa is founded in Aboriginal wisdom in caring for and connecting to country and is an accessible practice for all ages and abilities, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, that empowers reconnection with the earth as a starting point for wellness and healing based on the knowledge that Aboriginal people lived in harmony with the earth for more than 65,000 years.
The practice of Wayapa and its earthy foundation is one that we can all connect with, deep in our bones because we all have a relationship with nature. Wayapa inspires creative action in caring for and connecting to country, ourselves and each other.
In addition to receiving the lifelong benefits of learning this mindful movement and meditation practice for your personal use, anytime you need it, you may experience many benefits for your mental and physical wellbeing including a deeper understanding of yourself, a felt experience of groundedness, increased mobility, access to expressive movement and clarity of mind. The impacts of this practice are far reaching and support you to feel deeply connected to yourself, the environment and each other.
All purchases are final and are non refundable unless cancelled by the facilitator (in which case a full refund will be given). See the Covid-19 policy here. Attendance is now live online via zoom due to stage 3 restrictions coming in. Please ensure you are able to attend the course prior to booking.
